Our Book club meets every other Sunday at 1:00PM at a book club members house. We read non-fiction and alternate between contemporary and classic books. Our purpose is to better prepare our minds to live in and confront a world that is in desperate need of the kind of logic that only the God of creation can supply.
Chuck Colson put it this way. "The activist must possess courage and an unyielding faith in the God of justice. Injustice does not loosen its grasp easily. We must be prepared for a long haul, drawing on the rich resources of community and that abiding hope and passion for truth."
This book club is a community that wants to be prepared to confront falsehood and injustice.
